My Tomorrow’s Teacher’s Class visited an elementary school in our town to read Dr. Seuss books. This is the elementary school that I will be joining in the next week. Along side me, I had two classmates of mine, Justin and Stephanie, help me create an activity to do with the class. I ended up in a class of second graders. All of them were so excited to see us. We read “The Foot Book” by Dr. Seuss. After we read the book to the children, we gave them a piece of construction paper and made them trace their own foot. Inside their foot, I had the children write their name and something they like. The had to create a simple sentence for this. Once the group was done, they all sat on the rug in the classroom and we all shared our feet. Overall, the lesson went really well. The activity went a bit faster than I thought is would, but the children seemed to really enjoy it
